Spring Airsoft Guns

Spring airsoft guns are single-shot pistols that use energy stored in a spring to launch a bb down the barrel. You cock the gun prior to each shot much like you would a real shotgun or bolt-action rifle. This is usually done by pulling back the slide, then it compresses the spring and makes the gun ready to fire.

Spring Airsoft Rifles

Spring airsoft rifles are single-shot rifles that use energy stored in a spring to launch a bb down the barrel. You cock the rifle prior to each shot much like you would a real shotgun or bolt-action rifle. This is usually done by pulling back the slide, then it compresses the spring and makes the rifle ready to fire.

Gas Airsoft Guns

Gas airsoft guns use pressurized gas to propel bb's. These guns usually have two functions, automatic and semi-automatic operation. The most common gases used are propane and green gas. In contrast, CO2 gas guns use airs cartridges.

Airsoft Electric Guns AEG

Entry-level Airsoft Electric Guns normally use rechargeable batteries to run the electric motor, which rotates an internal piston/spring assembly in order to shoot bb's. Automatic and semi-automatic operation are normally their functions. These guns often prove muzzle velocities of 300 to 350 feet per second (60 to 100 m/s) and fire rates of 300 to 800 rounds per minute and they are very affordable and popular.

Electric Airsoft Guns AEG
